Thank you, Arundhati
For being the person who most inspired me this year. There are a lot of inspiring women in this world, but let’s face it, as a Smithie I’m so completely bombarded with them and their literature that its nearly impossible to actually appreciate any of them. But you were different, and your words really meant something to me, and I was able and willing to pick you out of the throng of...
Pressured my boyfriend into starting a tumblr. Success.
What am I doing now? Tooling around on the internet because finals completely screwed my sleeping routine and I’m never tired before 3 am anymore. Shit, son. Last night I read the entirety of Suzanne Collins’ “The Hunger Games” and finished right about the same time my mom was getting up to go to work. I thought...
I was so bored.
And then I messed with my tumblr theme for an hour. I feel better now.

Me too, man. Me too.

A blog is born
Since I’m a huge sucker for new fads and social media, I’ve been wanting to join the tumblr bandwagon for a while now. I toyed with the idea of themes (food? geology? Rihanna music videos?) but none of them really seemed like something I could commit to. So now I suppose I’m just some Smithie, looking for yet another way to procrastinate and help you do the same.
Happy reading!
